Where do you notice your weight loss first?

So far I have lost 9 pounds (yay!) but I havent really seen a difference in my body yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm not getting discouraged, but I was just wondering where everybody else saw a change first.

    I've lost most of mine in my stomach. I can tell its smaller than what it was. But it took until I was 15 - 20 pounds along before I saw it.

    I noticed in my legs and arms first. I actually noticed my wrist getting smaller. But everyone is different.

    A lot of people say "Oh Your face looks Thinner" So I would have to say in your face..But then again that a little nicer than saying "Your as# is getting smaller..Have a Great day.

    boobs, arms and waist. after about 8 pounds i could tell a little difference and now i'm up to 11 pounds and i can really see it, esp boobs.

    weight-lifting has really toned me alot ALOT - so even though i don't see enormous strides, i do see toning. :smile: (lost 6" of waist so far which is better than pounds to me!)

    I'm wondering the same thing about myself. I'm at about 5lb lost (out of 25) and I can feel it, but not yet see it. I think I might take some photos along the way to compare. In the meantime - I know that my pants don't feel as tight so something is changing!
  • after 15 or 20 pounds and it was in my butt and legs. I think that is because I have been walking and working out those the most. It is nice to see your pants get baggy in the rump! :heart: I now walk with nordic poles to work my upper body more. It needs to shrink too.

    Both my husband and I noticed it in my stomach first. It's very gradual but it is there. But none of my friends or family have noticed yet. :ohwell: I suggest taking your measurements. It helps you to see what parts of your body are getting smaller! :flowerforyou:

    Praise the baby cheeses it was in my chest. The only new thing I have had to buy thus far has been new bras and that was VERY welcome.
  • Whenever I lose weight, it's always noticeable in my upper body, especially my chest area. I'm a pear shape, I lose my boobs, but I always have big legs.

    I have lost 40 of the 90 I plan to lose...and a small group of people noticed so far...so don't get discouraged. I was discouraged after 10-15 pounds when no one was noticing. The people who have noticed (or have at least said something) have told me they first noticed it in my face and now are noticing in my stomach area (finally).

    I've always lost weight from the top down. First thing to go was face and then chest and so on.

    Trainers always told me that the biggest muscle groups will burn the most around them but my butt and thighs sure haven't lost like a trainer led me to expect. Seems to me like I lose in the areas I don't care as much about first.
