A great fall/winter soup

I'm not one to normally try stuff when I don't know when it is - but I have to admit, I tasted this while it's simmering and it's pretty great so far. I had some white beans I wanted to use up and this fit the bill for our daily lunches.

I stuck very closely to the recipe except I added garlic, dry beans instead of canned, pepper, and used vegetarian broth.
