I'm procrastinating today....making my grocery list....what does yours look like?

    My grocery list for this week isn't going to be terribly healthy. I'm going to be party-food shopping. :drinker:

    Need more dips, pretzels, cheese, veggies for dipping (so it's not ALL bad!), popcorn chicken, wine and tequila!

  • some staples in our house are light soy milk, apple sauce, whole wheat flat bread, ground white meat turkey and organic greek yogurt...
  • This thread is not what I thought it was going to be about (lol).

    I am shopping for strawberries, lemons, oranges, cucumber, ginger, mint leaves, fresh spinach, dorot frozen garlic cubes, bottled water, tilapia, mussells, shrimp, xylitol (natural sugar sub), community coffee, and chicken breast.

    FROZEN Broccoli. Cauliflower. Green beans.

    MEAT Extra lean beef mince. Skinless chicken breast fillets. Beef steak. Pork loin streaks.

    FISH Salmon. Cod. Haddock. Prawns. Smoked salmon trimmings.

    DAIRY Cheddar cheese. Low fat soft cheese. 1% milk. Yoghurts. Chocolate mousse. Toffee mousse. Cottage cheese.

    PLUS tins, jars and packet items mainly for the kids consumption, skinny teens who are constantly starving!

    so....yeah. we don't typically get luck with the meat but it was on sale today so we stocked the freezer (god help the person who pulls something off the bottom, they're gonna get buried)

    ok...i made it home from the grocery store...i'm gonna need you all to email me your lists from now on! Went shopping with an 8 year old..oh brother! I did get some yummy greek yogurt and frozen fruit to make my own parfaits (kiss my *kitten* McDonalds!)

    This is a fun thread, I love reading everyone's responses!
    My mom and I went food shopping today and bought:
    Produce: Turnips, cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, mushrooms, jalepenos, red bell pepper, sweet potato, red onions, bananas, apples, mangoes, grapefruit, broccoli, sugar snap peas, and carrots
    Meat/fish: Ground lamb, chicken breast, crab, octopus, and sole
    Dairy: Siggis' skyr, Chobani, organic skim milk, heavy cream, light cream, red wax gouda cheese, sliced provolone, sour cream, brick of Romano cheese
    Dry: Ka-me rice crackers, Ezekiel almond granola, whole wheat flour, walnuts, organic white quinoa, Mary's Gone crackers, Quaker's quick oats
    And lots of Harpoon IPA!

    I love going food shopping. I find it weirdly fun!

  • Well i just went grocery shopping but my list was Hellman's Real Mayo with Olive Oil, Boneless skinless chicken, turkey burgers, Health Full Whole Wheat Bread, Special K Cereal Snacks And Protien Meal Bars, ect. Did really good switching stuff up to lower calorie foods and things!
