Hi, for super vitamin packed smoothies ,google green smoothies they're delicious. here's my favorite
1/2 banana
5 frozen strawberries
1/2 an apple
1/4 cup milk or plain yogurt your choice if you use yogurt add some water to thin it out
2 handfuls baby spinach
You won't taste the spinach at all and it makes a beautiful bright green color, you can add grapes to sweeten it or try other frozen fruits as well.
Friend of mine adds eggbeater eggwhites for extra protein.

1/2 banana
5 fresh strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup Light n Fit vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup v8 fusion light strawberry banana juice0 -
I make all my smooties with this simple formula:
1/2 cup liquid (could be milk, juice, water)
100 g yogurt (any flavour)
1/2 cup frozen fruit
1/2 banana if you like it
I mix up the flavours and everything depending on what I have, but I've never had one turn out badly. I don't use protein powders, but I have heard of others adding those as well
my fave combo is:
orange juice
vanilla yogurt
frozen blueberries
hold the banana

1 Banana
8 Hulled Strawberries
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
6 ice cubes
It's technically supposes to be 2 servings, but I drink the whole thing at one sitting. I modified it froma recipe I got on allrecipes.com, which is a very good site for finding recipes.0 -

That is my favorite smoothie too! I always have frozen blueberries on hand because they store so well and are much cheaper per pound than fresh blueberries.0 -
1/2 bunch of spinach
1/2 cucumber
1/4 avocado
1 small grapefruit peeled
1 lemon peeled
1 tblsn ground flax seed (or not)
11 ounces of coconut WATER (or more to blend ingredients easily)
1 packet sweet leaf stevia (or more) to sweeten
Healthy and you feel so full. I use this as two servings.0 -
What a coincidence! I just got a container of blueberries and strawberries, so I made a smoothie yesterday and today. Both days I used...
about three strawberries
a handful (1/4 cup, maybe?) of blueberries
some small cubes of ice to give it that nice slushy texture
a bit of milk to thin it out (maybe about 1/4 to 1/2 cup?)
a container of danon light n fit yogurt (yesterday it was blueberry, and today it was strawberry)
one other piece of fruit (yesterday it was a kiwi, today it was a banana)
The kiwi gave the smoothie a nice tartness, but the banana was good in it too. I have a pear in my fridge; I'm kind of wondering if that would taste weird in a smoothie...?
Anyway, my stomach doesn't react too well to acids mixed with dairy, so I stay away from using the traditional citruses (orange, grapefruit, etc.) in smoothies.
Has anyone ever tried blending in some instant cocoa? I'm imagining a chocolate strawberry banana smoothie....0 -
Here is a awesome recipe for a soy-smoothie!
1 cup assorted frozen berries
1/2 banana
1/2 Light Vanilla Soy Milk
1 fresh squeezed Orange
1/2 Ice cubes
Blend all and enjoy a great post- workout drink or morning booster!0
