Chocolate cravings

Options
I really crave chocolate as a snack mainly during the day - sitting at a computer desk can get boring and boredom = hunger. Any suggestions for alternatives other than fruit?

If you are within your cals eat it! Dieting isn't meant to be a prison sentence.

    Just think 'moderation'!

How about a seed or nut mix or carrot/celery sticks.

    Extra Mint Chocolate Chip Gum!
Also, try Special K bars - only 90 calories. Or Fiber One bars.

Eat chocolate! I buy the 70% cacao dark chocolate squares. According to what I've read there are many benefits to eating it (in moderation of course). I think a serving is 4 squares @ about 230 calories. I never eat the full serving at once. Maybe 2 squares at a time.
I don't eat it all the time but I will buy a bag every once in a while. Not something I would do every day but can help when you really have to have it.

Rice cake with 1tsp nutella spread. It's about 115 calories each and very chocolatey.

Mini wheat... little bits... chocolate flavored. I eat them for cereal or as a snack at nite. Of course there are calories, BUT you also get 270 grams of potassium (an important partner to handle sodium) 6 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein, and 90 grams of iron.

I always keep gum in my drawer at work. Another suggestion is everytime I want to snack on something I start taking drinks of my water. It especially helps me get my water in for the day.
