This time of year is the busiest for me, not only because of the upcoming holidays, but everyone in my immediate family has birthdays coming up also (including myself.) We have my husbands b-day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, oldest sons b-day, Christmas, New Years, my b-day then youngest sons b-day all within the next 4 months. As if it's not hard enough to stay on track with the holidays alone. If I can make it through and continue to exercise I think I'll be set for life. Wish me luck:wink:

Good luck!! But more importantly- stick with it and try to plan ahead how to handle all those special occasions!! MFP can really help with that.

Good luck! You can do it!

We have the same situation in the winter. My birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas, my daughter's is 2 weeks after that, then my husband's is ten days later and then my son's is 10 days after that. It's complete cake-and-pesent chaos. And right after Christmas I just want to hole up and be quiet for a while anyway. But it is not possible.
  • Definitly wishing you luck! I am in the same boat! I got Halloween, Dad's b-day, my 3rd sons b-day, thanks giving, my youngest sons b-day, christmas, newyears,my bday, my 2nd sons bday all in the next 4months.

I'm in the same boat. We just celebrated my daughter's birthday which was going okay until my mom decided to she needed another birthday cake and three different types of ice cream. My other daughter's birthday is next, then Thanksgiving, my birthday, Christmas, my husband's birthday and then my son's birthday. I'm actually thinking about taking my weightloss down to 1 pound a week just so I can keep up without feeling deprived. Hmmmm...It's a thought.
