I've noticed I'm a lot more confident in winter.... I think it might have something to do with the fact that everyone layers up in the cold so it makes you look a little chunkier but I don't get cold easily so I tend to go out in thicker tights shorts and jumper.

Anyone find that their confidence levells change to do with what the weather is like?

  • Yeah I get what you mean. In the Winter we can just blame our size on "Oh I'm wearing a lot of layers!" In the Summer, if I ever do go out without a cardigan (that is a big if 'cause I'm always cold), then I get rude comments off people for being 'too skinny'. I definitely feel better if I have the extra layer on.

I'm more confident in winter also, because I get to wear sweatshirts. My upper body I dislike the most. My wish for next summer is that I will actually be able to wear a cute tank top, instead of a tee shirt, and not get a horrific farmer's tan. So yeah, definitely more confident in fall/winter/early spring.
