Hello everyone,

My name is Sabrina and I am new to Myfitnesspal. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good HIIT workout for me? I really hate the treadmill and running and currently looking for something that can tone and burn fat in the least amount of time.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thank you!

let me add that the best "workout" for fat loss begins in the kitchen. any amount or type of exercise isn't going to do much of anything if you're not eating correctly.

Check out bodyrock.tv - she's really awesome and the workouts look amazing. I haven't started them yet (working up to it lol) but they are definitely at the top of my list!

^^^ This. Also, fast weightloss is usually not the best, most sustainable kind of weightloss. Sensible lifestyle changes and exercises are usually best. I've been at it 7 mos, and am just in the last 2-3 mos working up to really intense exercise, taking into account I am nursing an injury.

A good agility program is probably a great choice for you. I adhere to the HITT on the treadmill and also other cardio equipment but get bored which sounds like your situation. Running drills outside is fab. Where to get the drills? You may have to look online and type in the keywords. I am doing P90X as my conditioning program where they have a great Plyo DVD but I am sure you would have to buy the who program. If I find any other agility plyo DVD's that are stand alones, I will try to pass them on.

P.S. Your nutrition is going to be your biggest deal on the fat loss by the way. I eat a sugar, wheat and mostly flour free food plan but that is just me. That helps with a healthy fat loss that is more of an expediant approach. If you lose too fast, you end up with lose and puckered skin sometimes, so be careful. Also the best times to execute your training for a cardio burn is first thing in the AM or right before dinner.

Thanks and I totally agree. I am trying not to have loose skin with the weight loss, so I feel like I need to workout somehow.
