So there are skeptics, this we know, but sometime we are our own skeptic. I catch myself saying, "I'll never lose weight" or "It will take to long" and I am just tired of hearing myself say that, so that being said I decided it was time to prove to myself that I CAN change my life. So here is the challenge I have, mostly to myself, but join if you would like. For 7 days you must
#1. Drink 100 oz of water
#2. Stay under your calorie allotment
#3. Get in 30 minutes of cardio (or whatever exercise you prefer)
#4. Stay under 2000 mg of sodium/day
#5. (Post on this as often as you can your daily success/struggle)
Weigh and measure at the end of the seven days and see what a difference you have made. I'm kind of in this weird plateau right now, I am like jumping up and down on the scale everyday- no matter what I eat (when I'm good and when I'm bad), so I'm using this as a kick start! Join in if you would like. Good luck to everyone!

I like it! It'll be a HUGE struggle (the water might kill me), but maybe it will keep me focused enough to do it, lol. Thanks for the extra push!0

Well-- let's do it then!! We can do this! The whole thing is a struggle for me, but I think the easiest way to get 100 oz of water is to use a 20 oz cup or bottle 5 times a day. My exercise for today is my kettlebell work out with my new, heavier kettlebell & walk/jog 1.5 miles!0

I will join this for Monday thru Friday, but Saturday I am going to Cedar Point, so I know I won't do any of that! lol. I have my diary planned for today and am at about 1500mg of sodium, under calories, going to do a modified version of 30DS tonight, and planning to get 14 cups of water!
I'll let you know how I did.

Monday Check IN:
#1. Drink 100 oz of water- YES (112 oz)
#2. Stay under your calorie allotment- YES
#3. Get in 30 minutes of cardio (or whatever exercise you prefer)- YES (30DS modified for my knee, plus a few extra mins of cardio)
#4. Stay under 2000 mg of sodium/day- YES (1446mg)
#5. (Post on this as often as you can your daily success/struggle) Success today! I am very motivated because I really want to reach my goal! Hope everyone else is doing well.0 -

#2. Stay under your calorie allotment- yes! had some to spare)
#3. Get in 30 minutes of cardio (or whatever exercise you prefer) sure did, 30DS plus went to the mall with my daughter and played in the play area for about 45mins) and walked A LOT
#4. Stay under 2000 mg of sodium/day- failed i forgot about this one. lol 2403 was my sodium
#5. well few struggles for the day: went to the mall and ate panda express, i did choose better alternatives and ate only 1/2 of everything, but the the sodium in the soy sauce got me :-S .... its a rainy day out here and i tend to eat from boredom ... oops plus it's cold outside and didn't feel thirsty enough to drink 100oz of water, i will try to do better tomorrow0 -

#2. Stay under your calorie allotment- YES
#3. Get in 30 minutes of cardio (or whatever exercise you prefer)- NO
#4. Stay under 2000 mg of sodium/day- YES (1289mg)
#5. (Post on this as often as you can your daily success/struggle) Struggle because I had a test to study for the next day so I didn't have time to get my exercise in and didn't pay attention to my water and get enough in...Wednesday will be better!

#5. well few struggles for the day: i really was going to skip exercises, but i knew i had to do them and if i skip them today, i would probably skip them the next day!0 -

#5. well few struggles for the day: I was on the run all day and didn't have my bottle of water with me, so i was a bit behind on water in take... i don't think i'll be ever able to drink that much water especially with the cold weather and rain we have :-/0
