The Fifth Third Burger

This was on ABC.com. It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it. Yikes!

-- they call it Fifth Third burger.

Actually, it's five hamburgers in one with five slices of cheese, a cup of chili, nachos chips with cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. It all gets mashed between eight inch buns which, by themselves, contain a pound of dough. That's a lot of dough -- the whole concoction weighs a whopping 4 pounds and cost $20 dollars -- also a lot of dough.

"Besides being unique and large and bizarre," says Whitecaps President Scott Lane, "it tastes good."

In all honesty, it doesn't even look appetizing. It looks like a pile of garbage.

How's that for positive reinforcement!!

It has all the stuff I like rolled into one but I don't think it would be very good all mixed together, and over 4000 calories!!!!

I'm already sick just thinking about it. I think people who come up with such bad foods should be fined.

    Let's see:

    4800 calories (3 days worth)

300 grams fat (a week's worth for me)

    744 mg cholesterol (another week)

    10,000 mg sodium (10 days)

    ONE SO-CALLED MEAL

I don't think so, these guys should receive a lethal injection of their own burger.

I just read further up on it, and they're not really expecting one person to eat the entire thing. The way they make it is, it can be cut up into four servings for a family of four, but they will give someone a t-shirt if they can eat the entire thing.

See, and people wonder why Americans are so overweight!!!! Why do people even think of things like that...and why do people ever eat things like that?

Yuck. It doesn't even sound good in the description. I don't want to see what it actually looks like - divided into 4ths or not.

And by naming a burger Quadrouple bypass burger...well that says it all there, doesn't it. Gross

I AGREE... you should see all of the people who went in there and finished the Quad...

I dont even want to know what their blood looks like much less how painful it is for their heart...

I am glad I found this site to help me eat healthy and feed my body the fuel it wants and deserves!

AND to hang out with all my MFP friends ((((((MFP FRIENDS))))))

Don't get me wrong, I love a good cheese burger. But everything has a point where it becomes toxic to the body. Now.....I am going to go chew on my celery sticks.
