I am sending my son outside with his Dad. His Dad is able to burn some calories and I am able to eat my dinner in peace!

Unleash them on the backyard. Play, minions, play and leave mommy be for five minutes!
If uneffective, there is always Yo Gabba Gabba on demand. 30 minutes of telly won't kill them, but 30 more minutes of THAT behavior has no such promises.

send them to neutral corners (their rooms) if they're fighting...or when my daughter calls me in a panic with an emergency such as "Mom, there's no after-school program today" when in reality there is no Environmental Club today and after school is still in effect, I pop a handful of Advil after banging my head on my desk repeatedly.

tell them its chore time and watch them scatter they will hide in their rooms until they think the coast is clear. or another one that works is i say "next one who gets on my nerves can go scoop the dog poop from the backyard" ahhh silence is golden won't hear a peep for hours

    pop a xanax.

No really....I get out some paint and paper and we art it out. that really works about 99% of the time. If that doesnt, I lock myself in my bedroom for 10 minutes and just deal with whatever they did when i return.

I go in my room and lock my door. Thankfully, we live with my best friend's parents so he usually gets distracted by them and forgets about torturing me.
