There really is no hurry to get to your goal if you plan on staying there forever....really, what's going to change as far as eating habits and exercise when you get there? Hopefully nothing

Just keep going even when you don't feel like it...til you feel like it again!

Continue to use MFP, and eat only healthy foods, with a high protein emphasis. No white bread, rice or pasta, no potatoes. Berries(the darker the better). Greek yogurt for all kinds of reasons. Low fat meats(obvious reasons).

...And a good exercise regimen. Cardio, strength training, yoga or martial arts.

don't over complicate things, eat foods you like, eat when/how many times a day works best for you and don't sweat going over your cals every now and then or social situations where you might go over

you'll get plenty of tips on nutrition and exercise on this site. I prefer to focus on what is often the more challenging part of the journey...the mental part of it. so, here's my best advice:

Take a diet break. How long have you been in a calorie deficit? My trainer recommends a week-long break from diet & exercise every 10-12 weeks.

If I'm guessing correctly, the idea of doing that terrifies you, so how about taking a break for one day & eating a crapton of stuff? You can work out, but make sure you eat enough to create a calorie SURPLUS. This will help reset your metabolism & although it will spike your weight initially for a couple of days, it will come back down quickly & you'll probably find yourself at a new low within a week.

    1) Do not eliminate foods that you enjoy and I don't care what they are.
    2) Do your best to hit your calorie and macronutrient goal by the end of the day.
    3) While hitting those goals, select mostly nutrient dense foods. But, if you want a few treats, eat them! Just budget them into your macros.
    4) Lift weights at least 3/week using a program centered around compound movements.
    5) Lastly, eat at a reasonable deficit. No greater than 20% reduction of your maintenance. Slow and steady wins the race, best to plan for longevity.

As you grow in your health journal...look at the total health...mental, physical, and spiritual. They all are tied together. We tend to focus so much on the physcial and neglect the mental...then we suffer. Total health is the total body and mind and soul. Balance it and take care of it.
