This is so not easy to do. Every milestone is amazing, and brings a new feeling of accomplishment. So although i only lost ONE pound this week ... My total loss to date is 20 pounds.

I have been struggling to do my work-outs every day ... since the start of March, (and my 13 year old's cheer competition season) I've been taking the weekends off completely. Sometimes I really have to talk myself out of wanting to binge like crazy on cheese and pasta!!! I know i need to try to change up my routine a bit ... get to the gym in stead of doing my treadmill every day ... This 20 lbs is more than 1/2 way to my ultimate goal .. i just have to stay focused and keep going!!!

Good for you K! I know it's hard working full time and having 3 little people (maybe little isn't the right word in your case, as you're daughter's probably taller then you now  ) When you gonna come do my workouts with me? :drinker:

Hi GleamGrl14 ... I love hearing from fellow petites!!

When i started this thing .. i was wearing between an 8P (the "P" is for petite for you tall people) and a 10P. (ick) Now I am buying 4P - 5P. I'm top heavy though so my dress size when from a 12-14 down to an 8 ... which is GREAT. People definitely notice. I can only imagine what form i will have when the final 17 pounds are gone!!!

(and yes Banks .. my 13 year old is WAY taller than me ... my 11 year old is an inch taller .. but i still have my 5 year old son beat ... for now anyway)

Thanks EVERYONE for your continued support!!! MFP RULES!!!!

    What's your schedule like????

2 - 3 times a week (depending on weather), I go to the park right behind Sun Micro (the big park right on 62. At about 11:30.
the workout is short, because it needs to be. It's nasty, but it works very well. The after burn gives you a raised metabolism for 2 to 4 hours after so even though your HRM may only say you burned 200 calories, you're actually burning close to 400 or 450.

I usually do it tuesday thursday and friday. You're welcome to join me. Be nice to do it with someone else for a change. Basically I do this instead of lunch. The total time for me is about 40 minutes (2 minute drive there, 2 minutes back, and about 5 to 10 minutes to shower. The workout itself is only about 25 minutes long. So for you you'd probaby need to add 5 minutes to it for driving. Dunno if that's doable for you or not. I would be able to do a day after work if you want to just see what it's all about. I normally don't because it means I'll drive in rush hour. Which blows. But, I'd do it once a week if you can only do it after work.

Pooo .. i definetly can't do it during the day.
My lunch hours are only a 1/2 hour long because I leave at 2:30 on Fridays ... it's worth it to get out real early on Fridays.

I just got to get to my gym ... maybe actually work with the free trainer they provide. We'll see.

I would hate to put you out for the rush hour ...

bahh, I don't care, I get stuck no matter what anyway. Tuesday's usually a good day for that. What time do you normally get out of work?

Hey ... your gonna have to send me your number again ... I'm not sure I'm ready ... i'm a little scared .. i still can't keep a run for more than 4-5 minutes on the treadmill .. and even that's very rare.

    Ya .. definitely scared.

You'll need to promise to go easy on me ...

I guess Tuesday is as good a day as any. I can be out by 5 usually!!
