Has anyone seen the documentary Forks Over Knives? One of my co-workers told me about how it would make me think about dieting and the way america eats. I watched it last night and boy was he right. I just wanted to share the title with you all in case you haven't heard of it. I highly recommend everyone to watch it. Brace yourself, its an eye opener!!

Peas & Love,
Mikioi

I watched it online. Sorry I would tell you the website that my boyfriend pulled up but for some reason my history on my computer is cleared. (I hope it was only some online shopping for a gift for me, lol) I think it might have been 1channel.ch and then search for the title and i watched the first one :) Hope it works

I watched it. It made me go vegetarian for a whole week and a half. That was the longest week of my life.

    Netflix instant!

My soon-to-be mother-in-law is a "vegetarian" and swears by this film.
Its a good watch. I am just afraid I wouldn't eat animal products anymore.... haha who am I kidding? That's not going to happen!

I stopped watching it 6 minutes in. Seemed pretty one-sided. While I agree vegetables are great for you, I don't like how he was dissing meat right off the bat. I like how in Food INC they show the organic pig and chicken farmer butchering his animals out side (I butcher my meat outside as it is cleaner and easier to clean up, just hose everything down) but taking great care of them when they are living.

We watched it last Saturday evening. We have been moving towards a vegan diet for a few month and it sealed it for us. This is week two on our journey. I have to say eating differently takes a considerable amount of time planning and cooking but we do not eat half the amount of food we did. So far so good but it's all about choice.

We bought the Engine 2 Diet book and that was an eye opener for us. It is a 28 day plan so that's what we jumped on. My husband had a minor heart attack last December and his dr told us about this book. I'm all about keeping him around for many more years to come.

Extremely biased, and full of false assumptions.
