Just an intro...
About me:
~recently moved half way across the country from Lake of the Ozarks area in MO to Charleston area SC
~I'm a Navy-nuke wife and my hubby spends most of his time right now in Power School
~We're semi-newlyweds since we've only been married since November
~adjusting to being stay-at-home momma to 3, after 11 years of working the demanding hours of restaurant management.
My kids:
~ages 7, 4, & 9 months
~my youngest has hydranencephaly, which is a "terminal" condition that occupies much of our lives

trying to learn how to cook for my family and stay on a diet, exercise at home and with my kids~since I'm with them ALWAYS, finding time and motivation is hard :) as I'm sure you all know!

looking forward for great new ideas for fitness and food....as well as some serious support and maybe even friendships :)

    Welcome.

I read up on the hydranencephaly and my heart goes out to you and your family. What a heartbreaking and physically exhausting condition to care for. But you sound like a positive person and your children are very fortunate to have a mommy who stays home with them and juggles and balances everything, including being healthy.

    You'll love the support here.

Well let me say welcome to MFP, I love this site and I am sure you will to.. The people on here are Great...

God bless you and your family I know this has to be challenging and hard.. My son's first child was anticephalic and passed away at birth.. this was very hard for him and his girl friend since he had lost his father 1 1/2 yrs before and her father was diagnosed with throat cancer and passed away 6 months after.. well they have had a lot to deal with in there life and they are both so young.. but They have given birth to a very healthy baby boy who is 5 months now..

well anyway good luck on everything the dieting with the kids to taking care of the children to your weight loss journey.. I will keep you in my heart..

Congratulations on your choice to better your life!

Eat well, and track your calories, weigh yourself weekly (although I admit--I weigh daily! :embarassed: ) and measure, measure, MEASURE your body parts!

If you like to read inspiring blogs, take a look at mine  located here at MFP (the address is in my signature).

Friend me, if you like. I am always here to listen and support! :flowerforyou:
