Hello, I'm fairly new here and I have lost a total of 11 pounds. I have a message in my home page saying that they recomend recalculating your goals based on your new weight. I'm not sure what to do? Does this start you all over again? Do you lose your past menu's? Does it recalculate your daily calorie intake. I just feel like I am doing so good I don't know if I should mess with a good thing by changing it? If anyone could help I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Pam

I recalculate every 5 pounds. Your food items and menus don't change.

MFP actually updates your weight and recalculates that into your goals. If you use the recommended calculation from MFP, you can always increase your workout goals for more results.

Thank you for the help. I went back in and did an automatic recalculate but nothing changed, which really is fine with me. Hopefully I did it right. I have been exercising every day but I only have a goal of three days per week, I'm trying not to push it so hard that I hate it. This is such a great web site.
    Thanks for the support.
