My recommendation is to lower your carbohydrate intake, and increase your monounsaturated, and saturated fat intake.0

you need to not rely on the scale as that's impossible. One pound = 3500 calories over your normal caloric intake. So it's water weight, what you've eaten, poop, the way you're standing on the scale, tons of factors.
Instead, use measurements to measure your health as the scale lies to you.0 -

First of all: relax.
Weight variations are perfectly normal. Everybody experiences them. There are lots of factors that can cause our weight to go up and down during the course of the day.
Read this topic. It's very detailed and explains a lot.

Don't worry too much about weight changes over just 1 day, you will weigh different amounts at different times of the day and weight does go up and down a bit naturally. As long as you are sticking to your weight loss program you should be fine. Maybe try weighing yourself once a week.0

Well, the scale is not really lying. It's more that the weight is just temporary; water weight and not actual substance. The amount would still be correct, no?0

stop weighing yourself everyday. do it once a week at the same time each week if possible and than you will get a feel for gains and loses. dig in work hard and you'll be fine.0

Any fluctuations of under 5 pounds you can ignore. Increase your water and ride it out. Absolutely nothing to stress about as it is likely just water weight.
I wrote on my office calendar my "anticipated" weight if I lost 2 pounds per week. About 6 months into my journey I had a few bad weeks and was feeling discouraged. I pulled out this calendar to see how far behind I was . . . and much to my surprise I was the exact weight I thought I would be that week!
Some weeks you lose more, some nothing, some you gain . . . it will all average out if you keep dedicated to your health. DO NOT allow a few pounds to add stress, just not worth it!0 -
I agree, that kind of weight loss is impossible. It takes 3500 extra calories to gain a true pound. You probably have water weight diue to high sodium and the only way to get rid of it, is to drink more water to flush out the sodium that is causing the weight. So water, water, water!! And water!! :flowerforyou: Best of luck!!0

I fluctuate often.
Ignore it, drink more water---pick one day a week to truly record your weight. I weigh everyday, but only record on Friday. As long as you are going down/maintaiing with your weekly average, you are good.0 -
This is why I weigh everyday multiple times some days. Why? Fluctuations happen. I get it. I see it. I say "huh. Nother fluctuation. That's interesting." My graph goes down bumpy but I know if I keep up what I'm doing, the bumpiness will keep pointing down. Half the time up by a half pound is followed by down by a lot.
Don't worry. Keep going.0
