Yes it does, but not enough to make any difference in the big picture. Definetely not worth burning your toast to lower it's calorie content. Cut the crusts off instead.0

Only if you scrape the burnt bits. If you don't scrape it, the charred carbon will actually triple the calorie value of the bread.0 -
