HRM chest strap slipping

I've discovered lately that when I do jumping jacks my HRM starts slipping then the reading on my watch unit says 00 for around 30 seconds. Has this happened to anyone else and/or do you know how to fix this? (other than stapling the thing to my body)
Thanks,
R

Mine was doing that, but it was too big for me, so I just bought a smaller size0

Can you not tighten up the belt !0

I've found that they don't even read properly unless they're snug/tight! It should leave a good mark behind after you take it off.0

If you tightened the belt as far as you can, maybe you might need a smaller size0

Smaller size it is.0

ok, i will tighten it till it decreases the size of my rib cage. The size says medium, so I'm guessing it will fit me for a while b/c I'm far from a medium guy.
Thanks everyone for the replies.
