Can't eat as much-- good or bad thing?

I'm nervous because I can't eat as much in one sitting as I used to be able to.. which means I'm having a hard time reaching my calories for the day (not including exercise calories). Tonight, I could only eat 3oz of chicken...(check out my diary for the day) Do you think I should include more protein shakes? What's your favorite quick, filling, nutrient dense foods/drinks?

    Nuts and peanut butter. Or full fat yogurt or a glass of milk. All these are filling and will up your calorie intake.

    I reach for protein shakes if I need something that is high is cals and easy to eat/drink. Like Shannon_2003 said nuts, peanut butter are small but full of cals, same for some brands of Greek Yogurt, cheeses, and milk.
