    It completely depends on how big your weight loss goal is. I'm trying to lose 2 pounds a week, which means that for me, my daily calorie allowance is 1320. Since this site has made me accountable and on-track, I'm finding it hard to even eat 1320 calories a day!

    When you signed up, you should have entered your current weight, how much overall weight you want to lose, and how many pounds per week you want to lose. MFP figures out your personalized daily calorie goal for you based on your answers. No two people are exactly the same.
