And it kicked my butt. I am sad to say I wasnt able to get through all of level one today, but will push myself everyday till I can. Am I the only one who hasnt been able to make it through?

The first day that I did it, I couldnt get through one set of star jumps or the jump rope. I still cant do the bicycle crunches but instead I just do normal crunches. You wil be fine if you stick to it!! I completed day 6 of Level 1 this morning and I can now get through all the cardio and getting closer to the bicycle crunches everyday!
Stick with it It will do magic to your body
Im thinking once I've finished all three levels, going back to the beginning and following Natalie (the girl who does the advanced version). Im positive she will kick my butt too!!
I've also been told to do 30 day Ripped after this as well0 -
I finished it but I was not able to do every little thing they did for as long as they wanted me too. In my opinion level one is harder than 2 and 3. Mostly because it is really hard on the knees....my knees did not like level 1.0

You're hardly the first person to not make it through--that workout is seriously intense, especially on the first day. Jillian is crazy!! Lol, just kidding, but don't worry about it. I've done the Shred as well and even though I "made" it through the first workout, I took a LOT of breaks to catch my breath.
Keep at it and it'll get easier, I promise. You can do it!0 -
Today was my day two. Yesterday, I could not do all of the jumping and had to drop the weights during the anterior raise/side lunge. I stopped several times. It was awful.
Today, I was sore and didn't want to do it but I did. It was actually a little easier. The second circuit was the hardest for me to jump through. Those butt kicks are not my friend. I managed to hold the weights through the lunges the first time but couldn't the second.
I am hoping it will get better. When I am unable to do the jumping, I am high step marching in place to keep the cardio up. Even after I drop the weights, I raise my arms for the lifts. I'm gonna just keep trying.
For what it's worth, I'm doing a 3 day on, one off, two on, one off plan. My calves are killing me today and I'm trying to avoid shin splints.0 -

I didn't make it through the first day.
It was tough, I couldn't MOVE on days 3/4. I literally fell getting on and off the toilet. It DOES get better.0 -

I'm doing Ripped in 30 now.. I really like it. I think it really makes it easier after doing 30ds. So keep up with it and you will get through, you just have to push yourself.0 -
It has been 2 hours and my arms are still jelly.
I did the first 15 minutes, following the easy girl, can not do push ups very well even in the easy position, but I tried, and only managed 5-6. The butt kicks, well lets just say my legs were having a hard time getting off the floor, I did it, but my feet did not touch my butt. And the crunches where the feet are up, how the heck do you manage to get your butt off the ground?
Tomorrow I will do it, but I cant say I will do it as good as they do, but I will keep on keeping on. :happy:0
