Hello Ladies!!
Welcome to our second week of flying around the world! We had a great start last week, and I am looking forward to seeing how far we can make it this week.
Last week we started in New York, flew to England, France ,Italy, Cyprus and are now in Iraq! Great job ladies …we made it through 6 markers! You are doing a great job! Let’s see if we can make it to Australia (placemark 8) this week! OOOOO I’m so excited
I just wanted to remind you of a couple of things
1. Look for my message each Saturday, but save the link because I will be posting mini challenges throughout the week
2. Please respond/interact on the message board…it is nice when we are all supporting each other
3. PM me EACH DAY with your calories burned. I will then report to Lee, who will move us on the map to where ever we get to that day. (I will probably change this to reporting 2x a week)
If you do not PM me, I WILL look up your calories, but it takes me extra time, so I would very much appreciate you messaging me each day so I can just write down your number. Thanks for everyone who has been messaging me daily, I sure appreciate it

Well I've succeeded on this weeks challenge: every day I've exceeded last week's lowest counted burn by at least 200 cals.

Ok, are you ready for this weeks’ first mini challenge? Here we go…look at your food diary over the past week to see how much water you drink each day (you thought it was going to be another exercise challenge, didn’t you :laugh: ), if you drink 0-5 glasses a day on average, increase your water intake by TWO glasses, if you drink more than 5 glasses of water a day, increase your water intake by AT LEAST one glass a day. I’m telling you it will make a big difference! You are all doing a great job so far…keep up the good work! :happy:0

Well Ladies, are you ready for another mini challenge? Here you go!!! Look at your workout schedule, notice that there are some things you do repeatedly to get your workout in. What I challenge you to do is to find something completely different to try this week! So, if you regularly do say....ZUMBA!! but don't really use workout machines, then find a way to use machines. Conversely, if you use machines a lot, but don't usually go to a class, then go to a class. Or maybe you don't just walk, or swim or...anything that you can think of that you wouldn't normally do.
I'd be really interested in hearing what you come up with :happy:
I wanted to update you on where we are on the map (though you can check yourself with the link that is in my original post of this thread) but Lee hasn't updated us recently, so we are still where we were...though WE know we are farther0 -
Oh, this sounds like a fun mini challenge! Hmm, maybe I'll find a class at the gym since I almost never do those. Or maybe I'll try to do something outside. The weather is finally getting decent, and I haven't been outside much in months, certainly not to exercise.0

I'm going to pick belly dancing for my mini challenge. I've not done it for a month or so, so it'd be great to bring that back in to mix it up. I'll fit it in in the weekend. Hope that counts ok.0

I know I'm not too original but since I missed my cardio martial box class during my lunch hour, I put on a kickboxing DVD after dinner. I never used to be able to finish it, well not this time... I got trought it all and still found some energy to burn off on the elliptical and beat my best score. Whoo Hoo! I'm totally pooped now, hahaha
