Spacehog was big for me in the 90s...not sure about anyone else. Oh, and Pulp. Anyone here listen to Pulp?

Yes and Yes! I loved Common People.

Nirvana and Pearl Jam are my 2 favorite all-time bands.

I listen to the 90s alternative station on itunes every day at work and it has the best mix.

Others I'd add that I still listen to constantly would be Garbage, Poe, Belly and Veruca Salt (which I realized the other day I only had on tape...made me feel so old!)

Early 90's alternative rock in particular for me. Definitely Jane's Addiction and the rest of the Lolapalooza bands. Faith No More, Primus, and some of the lesser funk/metal alternative bands. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. Some of the heavier alternative metal acts like Corrosion of Conformity, Helmet, White Zombie, Tool, and Rollins Band. Smashing Pumpkins was good. And one band that I thought was great, The God Machine.

Not sure if Fiona Apple counts as alternative, but I love her. I think if I could only listen to one musician it would be her.

    Some favorite songs:

Alice in Chains- Brother, Over Now, Rooster, Man in a Box...
    *kitten* Surfers- Whatever
    Eve 6- Inside Out
Everclear- SANTA MONICA (also, their ex drummer is now the band teacher at my high school lol)
Foo Fighters- love Baker Street. Not sure if that's actually 90s or not.
    Green Day- Brain Stew
    Korn! Freak on a Leash
    Mad Season- River of Deceit
Nine Inch Nails- where do I start?
    Nirvana- You Know You're Right
    Oasis- Wonderwall
Silver Chair- Ana's Song (Open Fire), Tomorrow
Soundgarden- Drawing Flies, Spoonman (Black Hole Sun is actually my LEAST favorite, they can do so much better!)
STP- Dead and Bloated, Still Remains
    Smashing Pumpkins- Disarm

I might've messed up a couple times. I was barely alive when a lot of these bands were big but they're still the best! I've seen AIC, STP and Soundgarden in concert recently.
