I've been here since January, but I had no idea we had this! I think its pretty cool so we can encourage each other to maintain and keep a healthy goal! I'm so excited to start loosing weight!!! :))

  • Hi I am beginning a life style change starting today. I recently ran a half marathon in April of this year 2011. I realized then that I still needed to learn how to eat better, I believe I actually was starving my body from using food properly. I didnt understand why I could exercise and run and still not lose enough weight, I wasn't eating enough to burn the calories, my body was actually storing them for better use. I am relearning the idea of consuming more calories to help my body to stop being in starvation mode. Any advice would be helpful, am I on the right track or not?
