Waist Trimmers...are they effective?

Hey everybody.
So I've seen the waist trimming belts in stores and online, some get really good reviews and others don't.
I've been thinking about buying one for awhile now, but never do it.

1. Does it actually work?
2. Does it matter what brand or how much I spend on one?
3. How often should I wear it?

    I did buy one to see if it worked found one at walmart for only like 5 bucks so I was like sure Ill give it a try, its not like its a lot of money.

    As far as if they work I would wear it on the elliptical and things like that where you sweat a lot it helps you sweat out excess water weight but the only way that you will lose fat is if you eat less calories and exercise more.

    I used it only a few times and now its another thing collecting dust.

    If you really want to give it a try its not like they are expencive so you are not putting out all the much money, but in my opinion save your money.
