So ive been using MFP for about a month now..and in the beginning i did great!!
But lately ive gained all my weight back that i lost and plus some...
Ive had a really hard time sticking to a diet and its depressing...
Then I just keep over eating then give up and stop counting the calories!
And i tell myself i'll start the next day but it just continues!
So today im starting all over and am gonna try sticking to it!!!!
Any tips on what you do to stay on track and everything???
I need some motivation....
Thanks!

The best motivation for me is reading some of the success stories on here! Talk about inspiration!!
Good luck, and remember it does get easier!0 -
Welcome to MFP. Just read all of the message boards and you will learn a lot. Just keep asking questions and someone will answer. Drink lots of water.:drinker: Good luck.:flowerforyou:0

Commit to recording EVERY BITE for a week. Besides showing you where your calories are going, it may stop you from making the same bad choices in the future! Good luck and don't let a bad spell derail you from your goals!!:flowerforyou:0

The reality is that you are going to fall off the wagon occassionally. Life Happens. Someone is going to offer you a birthday cupcake or you'll forget lunch and end up eating french fries and a burger, or you'll be tempted by cadbury easter eggs (don't ya just love Easter candy?).
Rather than falling off the wagon and saying "I'll start again tomorrow" and just go crazy for the rest of the day, get back on the wagon immediately. If you have that cupcake for lunch, add 30 minutes into your exercise routine and reduce your calories a little bit at dinner.
No matter what, record everything. It will keep you honest and help you make better choices.
Also, this doesn't have to be a "diet" where you deny yourself. Sometimes, I just plan on falling. Yesterday i went out for lunch and instead of a broccoli sidedish got mac and cheese. I added it in to the calories, ate less for dinner and stayed within my calories. Maybe not the most nutritional choice but sometimes mac and cheese is good for your soul.0 -
Thanks
Sometimes just hearing other people telling you to do it helps alot.0
