so.. today i went to the gym and had to stop half way through workout as i didnt feel well enough... i just thought that i needed to eat. i was having cramps on my walk home as well. and tonight i decided to go for another run and i had to stop 3/4 the way through due to the same cramps. i have also been bloated... feeling a bit fat and yuck.. hating my usually firm stomach.. i havnt gotten it for about 6 months because of post pregnancy and breastfeeding and such, do you think this is it coming back? i hate to think its affecting my workouts, especially because i really enjoy them... :(

I find that when TOM is visiting the first couple of days I don't really have the energy to make it through all my workout without stopping. I never went six months without a period except when I was pregnant. When breastfeeding I still had my period. I would probably be a little suspicious and maybe go to my doctor if it persisted.

Its very likely that it would do that. Your body has months of periods to beat you up for. :( This will REALLY sap your energy.

hahaha yeah not looking forward tot his... and to the above comment, doctors say its quite normal for your period to not come back til 6 months post pregnancy or post breastfeeding, so if it doesnt come in 3 months i would start to worry... although im quite sure this is it, i feel like im having contractions! my period was NEVER like this before, shows how much your body changes through pregnancy and getting fit. got i hate this fat feeling though, im doing ab exercises because i hate how bloated i am right now...

A lot of times, periods are never quite the same after having children. Often they are heavier and come with different and/or stronger symptoms. If you're no longer breastfeeding, generally you'll get your period about a month after stopping if you haven't gotten it while breastfeeding. With my second child, I was breastfed for 10 months and got my period back at 5 months. With the other kids, it was a month or so after stopping nursing.

Only time will tell if what you're feeling is what you think it is!!
