Know what the hottest thing about this woman is? Look at the top picture. Look at her face, in her eyes, her body language, the way she's standing, how her shoulders are relaxed. She is confident. And the pictures reflect that. Confidence is sexy.0

Gorgeous pictures of beautiful women. And it makes me feel good to know that not everyone is aiming to be a size 8 or below. I have some major hips and will most likely never be below a 10 without bone reconstruction surgery (that is a joke!).0

That's what I'm talking about...0

By no means, please don't take this wrong, but I'm somewhat confused by plus size women as inspiration? Clearly by the photo, her body fat % is still too high and she probably would have an unhealthy BMI. She doesn't appear to have muscle tone or be fit. So how is this posted in "Fitness and Exercise" as an inspiration.
I agree both women are beautiful, and clearly confident and don't look bad. But with the trend of obesity how is this inspirational. I actually view it as kind of sad that someone would set their sights on this when it doesn't appear to me to be in "good shape" per se.
I'm really not meaning to sound rude, but maybe just devils advocate. I would hope someone would strive for something different,.0 -

by posting this I am being different, not every woman wants to look like a victoria secret model. I am happy being a plus size and my goal is to be an 11/12 which is still considered plus size!!!!! i would rather look like her then look like a twig, a lot more woman are curvy these days. and I post this because there is nothing wrong with wanting to look like that these women are confident in these pictures, that is the whole reason for my post, inspiration to be confident, you on the other hand only see how they look as in body wise everyone else who posted on this sees it how i see it0 -

I do understand what you are saying. But I don't know how you can judge someone as confident without knowing them. She is paid to look that way your confidence should come from within. I know many people who I consider confident, that aren't healthy and are still overweight. I don't believe in being "Skinny" but I do think you should set your sights on being healthy within a good BMI or body fat %, having good blood work levels, and being focus on muscle and cardio ability.
Your response as "you on the other hand only see how they look body wise" is funny to me, because you are posting a picture of professional models. They are meant to be looked at body-wise. And really, I tried not to make it personal or any attack on you. Writing can be very impersonal. I just hate to see someone "settling" for something they could be more because they saw a photo. Maybe if you wouldn't have posted this under fitness and exercise, I probably would be more adept to accept your answer. But really, I see it as someone avoiding hard work of fitness to have an image that is still not healthy. I'm understanding your point, but view it as not being all you can be.
I lost 2 more clothing sizes after losing weight, simply by really kicking up my workout. It came from toning and strength training. I don't think a person has to be a twig to be healthy, but the bottom image in particular, shows she has abdominal fat on her body that is a connection to heart disease and heart attacks. If you want to lose weight and get healthy, set your sights higher. Confidence comes from within.0
