Pop chips are AWESOME!!!!! And quaker rice chips are an amazing substitute as well!!!!!0

How about kale chips? I haven't had them yet, but they're highly recommended by some of my low-fat-consuming friends!0
-
I like the Ruffles Light Fat Free ones - they do have Olestra in them but taste much better than the baked ones to me and you get about 15 chips for 80 calories.0

All chips are bad!!! I say this as my boyfriend is also a sales rep for Frito Lay and I work hard to keep my house chip free. But Pop chips dont seem so bad if you are craving something salty and chip like. I think they are 180 calaroies for 30 chips or something.0

KALE CHIPS ARE DELICIOUS!!
I've never heard of pop chips. Are they in the UK?0 -
I eat terra exotic veggie chips. The sweet potato ones are especially good and they don't taste like the dirt like some veggie chips do.0

I really like flavored rice crackers - try them with a low fat dip - pretty satisfying0

don't they give you the...ahem...unpleasant side effects? I ate pringles with olestra once and bad things happened0 -
fat free and lightly salted ones0

I love PopChips!
Trader Joes has a version called Popped Chips- just as good.
I also like Veggie Straws. There are many different brands. You can have about 40 of them for 140 cals.0 -
I skip chips now and eat Pretzel Crisps! So good! The original ones are 110 calories, 0 grams of fat for 11. I will eat them with a light wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese. I also like the Buffalo Wing Pretzel Crisps! 110 calories, 1.5 grams of fat for 10.0

I make my own sweet potato chips in the oven with a little sea salt 4 oz potato is 130 calories.0

Thank you everyone for all the responses!!0

I'm sure there are some baked, tasteless chips out there that are lower calorie, but when I eat chips I generally get the All Natural Cheetoes, organic corn chips, or Sun Chips because overal they aren't too high calorie or too unhealthy and they taste good.0

I try not to eat any chips, otherwise I will go crazy piggy on them. If I want crunch, I eat a few nuts.0

I gave up chips altogether. They are addicting and just too high in cabs even if you get the baked ones. I can't eat just a few, so what's the point. I think that all picking food is just suicide for us. If you can take a small measured portion and stop at that, I am really impressed. I'm better to snack on air popped popcorn, you can get more mileage out of the less calories.0

I second pop chips... very good.0 -
I also enjoy pop chips but I would recommend Glenny's soy crisps. They're high in protein and delicious. A whole bag has 140 calories and they have a variety of flavors including ranch, bbq, cheese, salt and pepper, apple cinnamon and caramel.0

I like nori -I have some prepackaged at 10 calories a pack for 10 pieces in the pack...they are teriyaki flavored and really good. Plus, if you do splurge and eat the whole bag, it's still 100 calories or less!!!! I got them from Whole Foods...0

I have heard from a dr to check your labels because most everything that says low fat or reduced fat increases your chance of colon cancer by 50%! Its because the "fillers" they use change the natural chemicals in your body. But pop chips are great even though I can't have them yet also look at all the organic brands and try different ones that strike your interest.0

Baked Kettle chips! They LOOK like a real potato chip not a formed fake shape. They are slices of potatoes! The bbq flavor is my favorite and a serving size is 20 chips. 120 cals, 3g total fat!

Late July organic sea salt multi-grain chips. 13 chips = 120 cals & they're good.0

Pop chips, Trader Joes Salt and Pepper Rice Crisps (sturdy enough for a hummus or cheese and about 38 crackers in a serving), snikkidy (sp?) corn and potato 'fries', trader joes 'lentil curls' (can't remember the real name, but they're twisty curls made with lentils, in the chip section).
I really like the salt and pepper rice crisps right now.
Oh, and as always, using a thin mandolin slicer to make your own. I need to try it with sweet potato some time. I've never made any to 'save' though - it's always been 'make and eat' on the homemade chips.0 -
special K cracker chips are 30 chips for 110 calories....they come in sour cream and onion or sea salt0
