So I think Im standing at a stand still with my weight loss because I pretty much do the same thing all the time. I eat my 1000-1200 cals a day and workout 4-6 times a week. It usually consists of running. I love to run. I use it as my excuse to get out of the house! Or if I dont run I will do the elliptical and then walk on an incline on the treadmill. I've recently started to do weights. Not really sure if I'm doing them right but I'm doing them!

I wanted to try kickboxing. I've done spinning before and loved it but kickboxing is the only class that works with my schedule and the daycare schedule for the kids.

Anyone see results with kickboxing? Plus, I figure it's a great way to get out my frustration : )

To be honest, you might not be eating enough. Try having a net calorie of 1200 and you may just see it start coming off again.
  • try upping your calories!

I agree with upping the cals. Kickboxing is an awesome workout, not to mention learning some self defense!! I love kickboxing. Wish I had the room to still do it in my house. Weight training helps burn calories as well.

To be honest that's what I'm afraid of! I'll burn 500 cals but eat most back. I tried to up my cals before and just gained weight : /
Oh well... i just have to keep at it I guess!

Try to add in some more strength training. More muscle mass means you will burn more calories while you run and at rest. Don't go getting any female body builder images in your head, though. That's way above the amount of muscle mass I mean. I know alot of females are afraid of looking to buff from doing weight training, but it won't happen, you'd notice long before you got that far.

Strength Training and kick boxing are awesome. I do kickboxing at least once a week and it does burn and it's very fun to do as well. Go for it!
