    My Romaine/Spinach/Green Leaf is almost always over 1 cup, as long as you log it--you are fine. :-)

    I work evenings and was rushed today. I threw two slices of Sara Lee 45 calorie bread in a ziploc cause I have Peanut Butter in my desk drawer and Jelly in the fridge. Looks like a PBJ for me tonight!

    I'm sure a big salad is fine, as long as track it and keep the dressing at a reasonable level. One thing I was told one and will never forget is "none of us got here because we ate too many apples and carrots." Fruits and veggies may have cals, etc. but they're still VERY healthy so I don't worry too much about limiting those.

    Today for lunch I had:
    * 2 slices whole wheat bread
    * 2.5 oz deli sliced ham
    * lettuce
    * 1/2 tbs. light mayo

    Snacks:
    * sliced persian cucumber
    * light string cheese

    For breakfast, a cup of Kashi go Lean and half a cup of non-fat milk (in a cute little bottle that holds just that). Lunch, sandwich thins, leftover salmon, fruit, baby carrots, green beans. Snack-yogurt, fruit. Ho hum.

    Crystal light has aspartame in it=NOT GOOD!

    According to researchers and physicians studying the adverse effects of aspartame, the following chronic illnesses can be triggered or worsened by ingesting of aspartame: Brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, parkinson's disease, alzheimer's, mental retardation, lymphoma, birth defects, fibromyalgia, and diabetes...if your interested in the site I got this from...let me know, and I'll send it to you.
