People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.

Greetings all of my amazing friends on MFP! I do hope this finds you well this day. I hadnt seen this one in a quite a while and stumbled upon it this morning. I have always heard many people say that well its just my luck that this would happen, or this would happen. I am sure you yourself or have heard others say "I am never helping that person again, they just dont appreciate it". Well we do kind things for people and good deeds because its the people we are and we wouldnt be ourselves if we didnt. So yes all through life there is going to be people that do no appreciate what you did for them, ot take advantage of you, but as the poem below says and I completely agree with. People really need help, but will attack you if you help them.
