Would the BUTT BIBLE + C25K be too much? (re-post) lol

I'm in the middle of doing the 30 Day Shred...I am definitely getting more in shape and lots more endurance. I really wanted to start the C25K when I'm done with 30DS but I also want a good weight resistance program to go along with it...So would 4 days of Butt Bible and C25K on the other 3 be too much? Has anyone here done that combo, or one like it? I don't mind exercising every day. :)

    I do C25k, and am on week 2, but I also do weights 3 days a week. They both go together great I get in my weights and my cardio, and still have a day off every week.

    Of course, you have to listen to your body, since what works for one person might be wrong for you. But, in general, yes, you can do Butt Bible and C25K, even on the same day. I personally think it would be better to double up one or two days, to have one or two days for rest. I'm doing BodyRock workouts and C25K (3 days a week each) and recently decided that increasing my BodyRock workouts to 4 or 5 days a week would be doable for me as long as I'm leaving at least one active rest day a week. But if you want to exercise every day, there's no reason not to simply stagger those programs. I think they can complement each other well. You could try it, and reevaluate in a couple weeks for how you feel, and change it up if it's not working well for you.

    Have you done Butt Bible yet? She cracks me up!! She is way too funny - I love it.
  • The only thing with the C25K program is they suggest you take days off inbetween to let your muscles relax. I guess it really all depends on what your body tells you. If you are doing too much then you should probably limit yourself to one program, if not, then go for it!

    I am currently doing 30DS+ C25K, I do both workouts on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

    im starting NROLFW along with a 1/2 marathon training program next week...i'm going to alternate the days as each program has at least one "rest" day in between active days for that program to allow the body to recoup....i think it would be fine to do both that you listed...i've completed the c25k program and it is very gratifying to reach the end...good luck with what you decide...

    so you don't do 30 day shred everyday? I do C25K too and as soon as my dvd arrives I will start 30DS, thought it was to be done everyday?
