LOL! Sorry this is a weird post to me but had to share...

So, I've done dancing and cheer throughout my younger years and now since ive been out of highschool 6 years i am SO out of shape. Other than walking I have not done any other kind of work out. I cant get into doing more and I know I really NEED to.

And then Yesterday I did a Zumba class for the first time and was holding back hardcore tears. Massive emotions overwelmed me ! Couldnt figure out why it happened. Was I happy/ sad, who knows!

Has this happened to anyone elsE?

haha yea, I was holding back the tears during a half marathon...........of course the shirts people were wearing dedicated to family members and friends who died also didn't help. But I do get overwhelmed with emotion sometimes when exercising........it's not a bad feeling though, because usually I am emotional because I am proud of myself haha

That is pretty freakin' cool. I come from a long line of boobs/crybabies. Don't be embarrassed. Let those emotions flow, sister.

    Congrats on your new journey!

I get emotional when I can do something during a workout that I didn't think I could do. Also, I LOVE Zumba!! Enjoy it!
  • Iv'e gotten that way too except I was holding back tears walking to my car AFTER my workout was finished. I have no idea why! lol

I cried when I lost 10 lbs. - my first goal. It took me SO long and I was so frakkin happy!
  • That happens to me sometimes when I watch & play volleyball. I played for 8 years. For me, it brings back memories and the nostalgia makes me emotional. It also makes me sad to see how badly out of shape I've let myself get. But the better my health gets, the better my mood gets  . So that gives me hope!

I got emotional when I ran my first 5k at 5:00am at the gym. Yeah, a real tear jerker because I got my fat *kitten* to run so long and such a long distance (for me anyways) :D
