Completely Accurate?

Does anyone else ever feel like they are not completely accurate with their calorie counting/exercise and calories burned? I know a little give & take is expected, but there are some things I'm just not sure of. I know it'll take a bit of tweeking, but....
I think I'm getting closer to my first weigh-in, and I don't want to be let down. My food diary shows I've been doing well, but I just don't FEEL it.
Only time will tell. Anyone else feel this way?

I tend to overestimate my calories eaten and underestimate my calories burned... just to be on the safe side.0

Well.. I have to say that I lost the majority of my weight NOT counting calories, NOT logging exercise, etc. So, while it is all a guesstimate - remember that eating better, eating less and working out more will help you lose weight.0

i try to do this also. otherwise, who benefits from the reverse? nobody!
weigh and measure, don't just weigh, you could be gaining weight in the form of muscle mass and losing inches (this is where i've been in the past few weeks, because although the scale is hovering near the same numbers, my clothes (pants mostly) are definitely looser. i'm even in some i'd given up on getting into.0 -
Good point! I've been meaning to do my measurements, and I need to get on that. Thanks!0

You really won't feel anything. And why are you estimating your calories burned? Just pick an activity factor for your calories then eat at a deficit and see what happens. If you don't lose then decrease calories or increase activity. Don't fuss over it too much. Just be confident that you're doing it right and everything else will take care of itself.0
