ok so a few minutes ago, our whole house started smelling like a sharpie marker. idk why but its kind of starting to freak me out. any suggestions about what this might be?

    I read it as 'our *kitten* house started smelling like a sharpie marker' to which I had the answer

    But as far as your WHOLE house....i have no clue.

    Wait..does everyone smell it or just you? Is there by chance a large sharpie uncapped somewhere? Not sure what to tell you.

    ok thanks guys we found it. apparently a can of cleaning solution had exploded in our laundry room. i was afraid that an electrical wire was going to explode or something! yikes! thanks for the help:)

    Do you have kids and are they within your sight/reach? Generally, if I start smelling something like that and my kids are out of sight and really quiet, that means someone is up to no good.
