Nickname NSV

I work as a surveyor for a building company and often visit our sites to see what's going on...

Anyway, I hadn't seen a couple of the carpenters for a few weeks but when I went to a site yesterday I caught up with them.

To cut a long story short, I have so far lost 40lbs, down to 175lbs. Everyone used to call me names and tell me I was really fat etc etc the usual banter (if you've worked with builders you'll know what I mean, if you haven't then I'm sure you can guess...) It never bothered me at all as I have always been happy with who I am and what I look like...however...

Yesterday when I saw them they were really shocked at how different I looked...and christened me...SKELETOR! It caught on and now everyone is using it, it has since been shortened to Skelly.

It's only a small thing, but it actually meant quite a lot to me as that's the closest thing to a compliment I will ever recieve from these big, fat, smelly builders. It proved to me that I am making a change for the better and that it is noticable I have lost weight, even though sometimes I am more concious now of how fat I am than I ever was before I started losing.

Heres to another 35lb!
