I started my diet today. Does anyone have some exercise tips that doesn't cause the back much stress? I am already walking. Thanks I appreciate any advice for exercising anyone can give me :)

well done on the walking, it is how i started my weight loss. If you want easier exercise i would recommend swimming, the water will help to support the body and will give you an all over work out.

    Good luck

swimming is good in general. You can even jog in a pool for a low impact work out too.

do you have specific back problems? I have scoliosis and a weak back in general but my trainer worked with me to do strength exercises that have helped with my issues--now i'm pain free

    good luck!

cycling is good, but you need to go to your local bike shop to make sure your new or current bike is properly sized for you. you may also want to get bike shorts and a good seat. and btw, they have bike shorts that look like regular shorts, so no need to feel self-concious about spandex.

    although, i looooooooove spandex.

water aerobics, walking, maybe recline bike riding in a gym?
  • Swimming! I have an awful lower back and it really helps. Also the more weight you lose the less the pain. Have fun
  • I have stenosis, and osteoarthritis. I have had 1 back surgery to correct herniated discs. If i do to much i usually end up in tears that afternoon.
