    Half way there! Looks like we've lost some people but great job to everyone for staying accountable!

    How is everyone doing? What are you doing to lose weight/get fit? Certain diets or exercise programs?

    I am trying to watch my portions and eat cleaner. I think I do really good 4 to 5 days out of the week, then the weekend hits. Uggh. I know I could be losing more if I ate better. I work out 5 to 6 days a week, right now I'm doing ChaLEAN Exteme and TurboFire. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't be down at all because I really do overdo it on weekends. I gotta work harder on that!

    I mainly keep an eye on my sodium intake - but I try to watch calories and fat grams as well. I've also begun walking on the treadmill as much as possible - however, I haven't been able to the past few days! I plan to begin again today! I think the main thing that has helped me more than anything else is incorporating LOTS of fresh fruits and veggies!
  • For me its getting my portions down in size and trying NOT to eat my treats at the weekend...

    During the week at work, I do really well with my salads or a healthy meal and eat lots of fruit and veg and work out 4 evenings a week and then Saturday night and Sunday night his....I get BORED and reach for anything sweet I might have in the cupboard.

    I've been good and not bought anything recently but mum bought me a bag of Giant Choc Buttons, my fav....forgetting I was trying not to eat bad things....

    I'm happy I lost last week as its been a long time coming for me. But I'm focused again for the week and planning on stocking my cupboard with healthy foods :-)

    I have until Nov 30th to another 13lbs or so....so fingers crossed.

    Good luck to everyone on here - its great and thank you to Nelski for doing this every week, I can only assume what a nightmare it is!

    For me its cutting carbs

    Oh, and hitting the gym 4-5 times a week. I feel better that I have felt in ages!! Still got a long way to go, my target is 154lbs.

    Thanks for doing all the work to keep track Nelski!

    I just log my food and usually eat back most of my exercise calories so I don't feel deprived. When I get deprived is when I fall off the wagon and i don't want to fall this time. I workout everyday even if it's just a short walk at lunch. I've always loved fresh fruit and veggies, so no problem getting my fill of those. It's much easier now that I've been away from sugary sweets. Now I can have a serving (1/2 cup) of ice cream and be satisfied.

    No problem everyone! It helps keep me accountable doing this.

    That doesn't seem to be enough though...no loss this week. I'm doing the workouts but I know I just eat too much. I love food.

    I've been a bit lost ever since about week 3 when I had a wedding weekend and then my holiday :( I've just not been able to get back on track! I work long shifts in a ED and I am finding getting back into the gym on my days off hard. I have only entered my food diary twice since the 29th of August! In contrast when I have been losing weight I religiously track my food, I go to the gym about 4 times a week and wear a heart rate monitor so i can calculate the calories I've burnt, I also increase my water intake.
    However when i am bad, my downfall is BINGE eating!
    Today I had 2 large ice creams in the park, 2 large choc bars when i got home plus about 5 packets of crisps and 4 choc biscuits!!

    Anyway confession/whinge over!
    Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to really try to get back on track :smile:
    I am happy i am part of this as its the extra motivation im needing, thanks

    Nelski, do you prefer I keep figuring my week's %? Or do you want me to start doing total % like you do? You've only posted the formula for weekly %. Just let me know how you calculate the total and I'm happy to put that instead.

    I will try to get the totals up today or tomorrow, but I'm at work now.
    Sorry for the delay.

    Starshine, you can keep posting how you are. I am only posting overall totals because it's the easiest for me, and in the end we are looking for an overall winner.
    It's still nice to see what everyone has done on a weekly basis so keep posting your current weight weekly and if you choose to post last week along with it's percentage. It's really up to the individual. I have everyone's starting weight so as long as I get the current weight I can do the total percentages.

    you take your loss divided by your starting weight, or last week's weight, whichever you are trying to figure out, then move the decimal 2 places.
    so for this week, you'd take 1 divided by 259.6 to get .39
