flab really doesn't exist!

i posted a topic "turning flab firm" and one of mfp's members responded saying "flab doesn't exist(sort of). Its either muscle, fat or a layered combination. you can lose fat and firm up and build muscles." and how right he was. i have been frantically working to regain muscle loss by lifting weights and i must admit i've seen some great results, but u know how greed sets in and u want more faster. that's why i posted the blog...well...since posting my flab topic i've lost an additional 4 lbs that i wasn't actually trying to lose...imagine that! amazingly so, at least 50% of my "flab" has disappeared! woe baby! it is truly astonishing! i can't believe it, i had more fat than i realized. oh what a wonderful feeling...life is good!!

That's great! Yes, strength training burns more calories than cardio in the long run because the body works to repair muscle even after the workout is over.0
