I'm in a serious rut. Need motivation

I started this journey mid-July and it has taken me so long just to lose 12 lbs. I'm so proud of myself for doing it, but now, I have hit a plateau, the weather is changing, and my motivation is dwindeling. I'm halfway to my goal and don't want to give-up, but I'm in a serious rut. All I want to do is eat and sleep.
What do you do when you're feeling this way? How do you give youself a mental pep talk?

First off congrats on the weight loss!!! Maybe change up your routine... I get that way sometimes... One week I'll do really good and then the next week not so great...0

I am having the same problem! With the weather getting colder its harder to get up and go for a walk and I am craving comfort food. I have found that finding a new indoor workout has helped. I went online and bought me a new wii fitness trainer game and a fun Richard Simmons dvd! (I know! Don't laugh.)0

Sign up for some kind of work out group. I love bootcamp and currently we are still outside but by the end of october, it will be moved indoors. Nothing like that crisp cold air to make you feel alive!0

I get like that sometimes too! Sometimes I let it pass by giving it a week and then getting right back to the exercise.
I find that going to the Success Stories thread helps me a lot. I see that it works and that I WANT to look like the people in the success stories and most of all, I want to be one!
You'll get through it!0 -
Ruts happen! Remember that this is going to be a lifelong change so it's got to be something you can stick with. A few days off to do something different is okay. Actually, it confuses your body so that it works better! Look at staying at your current weight for a few weeks and then get back to losing.0

This is true. This is a lifestyle change for me, and just like anything else in life...it has it's ups and downs :-) Thanks all!0
