How to Turn On a 60 Year Old Man - Need Tips...........
Ok, now that I have all the perv's attention, can I get some help please?
At my firm we celebrate everyone's birthday each year. We are Architects so naturally we make our own birthday cards with a twist. We usually try to make them as funny as we can (think photoshop lol). Anyways, one of my boss' birthday is Monday and he is turning 60. When someone turns a significant number (30, 40, 50, 60, etc) we go all out and make it huge to the point where we decorate their desk etc. Like last year my coworker turned into a 40 yr old virgin and we changed her chair and put a seniors chair (the one they use to go to the bathroom with a hole in the center) we parked a walker right by her desk, we played "Stacey's Mom" and "Ms. Robinson" while she was cutting her cake, etc. And her theme card was "How to be a Cougar" granted she is very conservative and yes, a probably a virgin so it was hilarious and she was blushed and we all lol'ed big time.
Anyways my boss is turning 60 on Monday and we are planning to make margarita cocktails instead of a cake (he doesn't eat sugary snacks) and we are planning something big for his office (I am buying some depends and leaving it on his desk with a note attached saying "Just in case" or something along the lines, etc.
Does anyone have any good ideas for a birthday card theme? I am having a huge creativity block (rare) but it's happening. It can't be sexual you pervs but anything associated with 60 or men at 60! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!! (that's what she said)
Thanks!

60? Margaritas? Hell, turn it into a Jimmy Buffett Party... not that it's a bad thing, but it's a theme.0

Margaritas have more sugar than a Coke. So if he's diabetic, not a good idea! But I vote for the MargaritaVille theme!0

These are examples of the card I did for my coworker.... for her 40th! I Photoshopped her face into the sexy dress/body (she would NEVER wear anything like that)

When both of my parents turned 60, their friends/co-workers got them goodie bags filled with 60 things - tea bags, paperclips, pens, stamps, flowers, candy, pasta, etc.
There are some neat retro gifts out there like cards, mugs and shirts that say Vintage 1951 - found some for my brother's 40th at Spencers.
There's a book called "Sixty things to do when you turn 60" - essays by various authors
Ugh, that's probably really boring...
The only other thing I can think of is when one of my co-workers turned 40, we went the "over the hill" route and decorated his office with lots of black and pictures of Death and creepy quotes about aging/dying. He loved it!0 -

How about adapting the theme of a TV Test Card like this:

Colour TV had just been introduced into the US 60 years ago. What? I find it exciting

I would get him some suspenders, a magnifying glasses, an ear phone or hearing aid, etc. Make the card humungous, maybe do something with bingo and oh, don't forget a bib.0

LOL.... I could do something with this!!!0 -
You could do a 60s theme; he would have been a teen growing up in the 60s. Hippies, Woodstock, etc. Great music and visuals from that time!0

WOW! I wish I worked at your office. Sounds like a lot of great fun people that love each other!0
