9 inches around my waist - gone!

I am just joining a challenge and I looked up my measurements. I have lost 9 inches around my waist since I started MFP 6 weeks ago (and 10 pounds). WOW! I know I was really bloated then, but that just feels great. Looking forward to losing more inches and pound! Onward and upward!

  • No secret - I was just so bloated from eating too much salty take-out and my favorite Mexican food. In addition to watching my total calories and journaling on MFP, I do things like eat one fish taco hold the cheese with a few whole beans, instead of an entire 800 calorie burrito. And it is satisfying!

    I also started working out, elliptical and other random things at the gym and in the last week or two, I have been doing Zumba classes three times a week. I think this has made the most difference. I increased my cardio from 30 minutes to 45-60 on most days of the week.

    Thanks for the encouragement and thanks for making me laugh about my title. I am usually the one with the dirty mind but didn't catch this one. LOL.
