Hi! My sister suggested this site to me after a metal breakdown about gaining weight. I am getting married in May and NEED to lose weight. I have done the whole stress eating thing while planning the wedding. Just recently had a wake-up call when I realized that the weight I put on since November is going to prevent me from fitting into my wedding dress:sad: I know that I can take it back off. I just need to focus and this website seems like it will help me do that!

Good luck and happy you are here. I just had a baby in november and am in the middle of planning my wedding as well (june 2010). I totally understand what you mean by freak out mode! Get Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and do it 2 times a day... It will definately help, it is amazing!

Good luck and if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up! I love this site and you will too!

at this point, I would go drastic No room for taling off 1 lb per week, unless that what you what, I wou;d go on the cottage cheese diet and nothing else. At this point I would just starve. I know that is what no one else on this site thinks, but lets be real...It someone's wedding and you MUST look good!!! Do anything to grt there, And cottage cheese will get you where you want to be.. You can get it together after the wedding. Ejoy yourself and CHEAT on your WEDDING DAY! It' not worth it. Enjoy yourself.
  • Welcome!!!! You will find this s ite very helpful and easy. Log your food early in the day so you will know throughout the day howmany calories you have. Get the exercising in and most of all ask questions and read the boards. This site has many many helpful people and a lot of good information. You can do this -

please eat!!!!! something more than cottage cheese!!!! you have time to lose those pounds and still be sane. if you make yourself too crazy with starvation you will regret it, emotionally and physically. just go low cal, don't cheat, watch your sodium, carbs, and fat. and exercise 4-5 days a week and you should be there in just enough time to still stay standing up during the wedding. I promise you, you'll enjoy the day more if you don't pass out or end up hating everyone around you because your"hungry" please be smart and happy.
    YOUR GROOM WILL THANK YOU:flowerforyou:

Congratulations on your choice to better your life!

Eat well, and track your calories, weigh yourself weekly (although I admit--I weigh daily! :embarassed: ) and measure, measure, MEASURE your body parts!
