Tingling in the knee cap

I had been doing Zumba once a week for several months. The soreness in my knees got worse. Now I have tingling in my knee caps. No pain unless I kneel on my knees.
Any idea what the tingling in the kneecaps could be? Both are that way. Maybe one worse than other.

    A physician/Physio will be able to tell you. Don't guess it... noone on here can do a full examination so don't make assumptions! Just go to the docs! :) x

    Yes, I have an appointment for next Wed. but I wonder if anyone else has had this.
