zig-zagging calories is a great suggestion. Also, trying varying your exercise routine. Sometimes you just need to change it up....

Zig-zagging? Going over one day and under the next day, back and forth? By how much? Just exercise normally throughout? More info on zig-zagging please.

Zig-zagging is just moving calories from one day to another, basically. The week net calorie deficit is the same, some days higher and other days lower. You can find detailed information if you Google it.

Another thing to try to break a plateau would be to switch up your exercise routine a bit if possible.

Check out this link, if you plug in the info, there's a 7 day calorie cycle for zig zagging at maintenance, fat loss and extreme fat loss calorie values.

  • I've been at a plateau for 7 weeks..But still hanging in there..but getting very frustrated...
  • Zig Zagging...I think that will be hard, but I will try. I know if I eat more one day...I will keep eating. Maybe I should try changing up the work out I guess.

Change your exercise plans. Try a zumba class on youtube or go bike riding; that's helped me in the past. Sometimes even taking a small break helps. I should know since I tend to take one every two months! lol

Very proud of you! I can't handle being in a plateau for more than 2 weeks so that's when I tend to fall off the band wagon and take a break.
