Hey,
Is it wierd that I feel like I am not successful if I put on a dress and need to put a girdle on with it. I kinda feel like all this hard work is wasted a little. How do y'll feel about this stuff and weight loss?

I am 47 soon to be 48 with a little girl to show for my saggy body. I am not overweight. I need spanx to keep my saggy tummy in. No shame.

Did you know that even the skinniest of women (Jennifer Aniston) wears a girdle or spanx under a tight dress? Wearing a girdle or a corset or a control of any sort, does not imply that you're fat. It doesn't matter if you're 100lbs soaking wet, when you get in a tight dress, there could be some areas that you want/need smoothed out.

Don't judge your weight loss success with having to wear a girdle/spanx/control piece, because it honestly has nothing to do with it!

Someday you won't need the spanx! keep logging - never give up!

Check out my photo's on my profile page- I had to wear a spanx when my daughter got married - I don't need it now!

I love spanx! It actually does not bother me if I still have to wear something that helps me look a bit better. I keep reminding myself that this is only temporary and one day I will get to the point where I don't need that help any more. It's all good to me!

I feel great about wearing them... just helps me not be jiggley!!!! I only wear them with dresses, but I have small friends who wear them with everything! That seems unnecessary to me, but I don't live in their bodies, so I don't judge!!!

Enjoy, they really make me feel more like a woman when I'm all dressed up... complete somehow!!! Strange, I know....

When I showed for my school's equestrian team we were required to wear them no matter how thin we were. Gravity pushes down, chaps and pants push up, horse jiggles everything around... yeah, not a good look for anyone! I wear mine on the regular still to smooth things out. No shame!

The last time I wore a girdle, my entire midsection broke out in one massive ring of hives. No more girdles for me. People are just gonna have to live with the fact that I have a belly.
