I am a new runner, but I have realised after every really hard jog that I go on about half an hour after it I will need to cough a lot, it's really from the back of my throat as well. Could this be my throat is just dry or something more serious, that I need to see a dr about?

I cough too every time I run ,and I've been running for a few years. It's like an annoying tickle or something in the back of my throat. But I have no clue what causes it!

    Yup, this!
I just read an article that said it could be Exercise Induced Asthma :/ eeek.
  • Your throat could just be dry from not drinking any water, liquids during your run (assuming you don't). If it's just a cough it probably means you just need to keep hydrated. But if you're coughing and it's a little difficult to breathe as well it could even be asthma which you would need to see a dr. about.

I drink about 2 liters of water whilst at the gym so doubt it, but it is a little difficult to breathe as well but not much.
