After about a month of not losing any weight at all, just in the past week I've lose 3 lbs! I don't know how this is working because I've barely exercised this week, when on normal weeks I burn about 4000 calories and this week I burned maybe 1500. But I hope it stays like this!
Anyone know why this could have possibly have happened/ what I should do to keep it this way?

My doctor told me when I plateau to add more strenght training. So maybe the calories you burned were in a different fashion than usual? Also sometime it just takes a while for things to even out, things like your thyroid play a big role in losing weight. The thyroid takes 6 weeks to change levels, so everything could of just been adjusting to the new you.

It could be because you weren't eating enough of those 4000 calories back, and your body went into starvation mode. Sometimes to break a plateau, you usually need to eat more than you think you should. It could also be water weight.
  • Yeah I was thinking I should be eating more calories back, since I never do

Your net calories for the day (on the home page) should be at LEAST 1200, otherwise your body goes into starvation mode. I usually aim for 1250 or so, and I lose between a pound and two pounds a week. And a lot of it is water too.
  • When you up your calories for a couple days to get out of a plateau, after you get out should you lower your calories back down?
Like this week I upped my calories a bit and lowered my exercise and lost 3 lbs, now should I lower it back down and start working out the same six days a week burning 500-800 cals a day?

No. Why would you switch back to something that wasn't working?
